I offer interpreting and language services both on-site and remotely.

Remote interpreting can be smoothly conducted via phone or video connection-

Phone interpreting
The client first calls the interpreter and then connects with the client needing interpretation. The parties are joined using the smartphone's conference call feature.

Video interpreting
It can be conducted via platforms such as Microsoft Teams, allowing visual contact and supporting more complex interaction situations.

I am highly skilled in all key interpreting techniques:

🗣️ Consecutive interpreting
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker and interpreter speak alternately. The interpreter takes detailed notes during the speech and conveys the message accurately and comprehensively. This is the most common method used in everyday community interpreting situations.

💡 Tip: Please remember to give the interpreter an opportunity to interpret. If the interpreter misses or doesn't understand something, they may politely interrupt and ask for repetition, for example by saying: "Interpreter asks to repeat the last sentence" or "Interpreter did not hear, could you please repeat?" The interpreter always conveys the same message in the other working language, ensuring balanced communication between all parties.

🤫 Whisper interpreting
In whisper interpreting, the interpreter sits next to the listener(s) and interprets quietly or in a whisper for one or a few people. This method is suitable for small meetings, such as parent evenings, or info sessions in kindergartens and schools.

🎧 Simultaneous interpreting
In simultaneous interpreting, the speaker and interpreter speak simultaneously. This method requires special equipment such as headsets and interpreting devices. It is particularly suitable for large events such as seminars and conferences.

📄 Prima vista interpreting
In prima vista interpreting, the interpreter orally translates a written text, such as a document or form, during the interpreting session.

💡 Tip: It is recommended that the interpreter is allowed a moment to review the text before starting to interpret. This ensures accuracy and smoothness.
